Laser Shows

Sing along with our variety of laser light shows that feature our Skylase laser system projecting dazzling images and shapes that accompany a variety of musical genres. EKSC offers shows including Laser Beatles, Laser Country, Laser Metallica, Laser Pop, Laser Holidays, and more.

Out of the World Planetarium Shows

Enjoy zipping around the Solar System and beyond, getting close-up views of planets, launching in a rocket, and more in the Varia Planetarium. Our Spitz SciDome, one of only two dozen in the world, lets audiences explore the Universe in an immersive experience. Our GOTO Star Projector, one of only a few in the country, gives audiences a realistic view of the sky at any time and any date. By offering both live and pre-recorded programming, visitors can experience astronomy and science in a new, fun way!

  • CAPCOM GO! - an immersive and historical documentary of the Apollo program
  • Cowboy Astronomer - constellation tales, star identification, and views of other galaxies told from the experiences of a cowboy astronomer
  • Hubble Vision - all about the Hubble Space Telescope
  • IBEX - an exploration of NASA's Interstellar Boundary Explorer and what it studies
  • Light Years From Andromeda - observe how humanity has changed in the time it takes for a photon of light to travel from the Andromeda Galaxy to Earth
  • Mars Quest - Mars in 3 parts: what Mars has meant to humanity, how we study Mars, and what the future may hold
  • Moons: Worlds of Mystery - Explore and visit some of the over 200 amazing moons found in our Solar System
  • Oasis in Space - where can liquid water be found in our Universe?
  • Our Place in Space (grades K-5) - animal friends solve a crossword puzzle about the sky and space
  • Rusty Rocket (grades K-6) - explore the Solar System with Rusty, the knowledgeable rocket teacher
  • Solar Quest - how the Sun and Earth are interconnected
  • Sunstruck - all about the Sun and how it works
  • To Space and Back - how we have used space technology in the devices we use every day
  • Two Small Pieces of Glass - the history of the telescope and Galileo's influence on astronomy
