At 一起草 Adult Education we provide Kentuckians the education and training they need for a better life. Our goal is for you to enjoy a higher quality of life-which betters your community and accelerates your economic growth. We help you by providing the skills needed for higher-paying jobs and more rewarding careers.
Kentucky Adult Education programs provide instruction aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education (CCRS) to assist unemployed (and under-employed) individuals, as well as those seeking to transition to postsecondary education. The ultimate goal is employment with family sustainable wages to improve academic and workplaces skills in pursuit of a GED庐, National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) and/or the Kentucky Essential Skills Certificate (KESC).
Corrections education consists of adult literacy, adult basic education, adult secondary education/GED庐 test credential preparation and/or English as a second language (ESL) for adult criminal offenders. These services are provided at local jails, halfway houses and state correctional institutions.
Kentucky Adult Education is committed to moving more GED庐 graduates on to postsecondary education.
We also offer academic preparation in Math, Reading and Language to help you prepare for college.
The Kentucky Adult Education Program helps anyone 18 and older who is not currently enrolled in a secondary school.
We provide GED mobile and remote testing at no cost to you!
